Have you tried different types of paper? We have at least one LaserWriter (Plus, I think) that streaks on some paper and not others. Fortunately, it doesn't streak the bond type. We assume cheap copier paper is the cause. -- Peter

We have 2 original laserwriters. both occasionally have a problem with streaks down the page. Even if the fuser is scratched/peeling, replacing it does not help (we have replaced both on occasion). Changing the toner cartridge solves the problem. We use only brand new cartridges from apple. Is the problem poor quality control or bad storage/handling, i.e., wrong end up, very hot warehouse, ...? -Fred
