Hello all; I am trying to help a fellow user group member fix his Monster Mac equipped 128K Macintosh. It seems that the infamous Chip Clip used to fasten the Monster Mac daughter board to the Macintosh motherboard has failed. The constant heat has dried out the epoxy used in the chip clip construction. I have heard of a solder-in kit for the the Levco products. Levco has washed their hands of all the old products and service. Might there be anyone on the net with knowledge of a business selling these parts or replacement parts for the Levco products? If not I guess this person is finally going to have to byte the bullet and buy a IICX! Thank you for reading this. -- +-------+ Greg Hiscott gophers = gophers - 23; |+-----+| gjh@ligo.caltech.edu |+-----+| Disclaimer: Caltech has nothing to do with this message. +-------+ (818) 356-2974 FAX:(818)304-9834
