[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Ehman -- GOOD service report

bh11+@andrew.cmu.edu (Braddock John Hathaway) (05/03/90)

Pardon me for adding another piece of anecdotal information
to the fire, but I've had a few dealings with Ehman, Inc.,
and they've all been pleasant (or at least reasonable).

1) bought a two-page monitor ... they said there would be a two
week delay. There was, and my monitor showed up right when
they said it would.

2) had trouble with the factory set adjustment of the monitor ...
called them ... waited on hold for a while ... finally talked to
a nice, competent techie who told me that they had hidden all of
the adjustments under the plastic casing. He guided me step by
step through the adjustment (some of which was somewhat counter-
intuitive), and all was (and still is) well.

3) bought an extended keyboard from them. they promised a five
business day wait on saturday and the keyboard arrived on wednesday.
I'm still getting used to the new (IBMish) tactile sensation, but
it seems to be a perfectly nice keyboard.

The only downside that I have to point out is that they tend to
leave you on hold (at your expense) for a pretty long time
sometimes when you need tech support.

From my experiences I would recommend buying from Ehman.

Disclaimer: I don't work for Ehman, I'm just a satisfied customer.
