I'm afraid you can't just put memory chips into the units.  Also, extra
RAM is only used for download fonts.

First, the DJ+ CAN'T run at 57.6Kbaud.  Second, neither unit can be
upgraded to run at 57.6Kbaud, only the DeskWriter's serial port runs at this
speed.  Third, why would a fast serial port make any difference in the speed
that you ship data to your parallel port?  The high speed serial to parallel
converters rely on high speed serial from the Mac, not from the printer.
