[comp.sys.mac.hardware] C1 capacitor/mac+ power supply

I have a mac plus whose C1 capacitor on the power supply board
gets super hot after a minute of being on. The video display
is horizontally compressed. Anyone seen this symptom, and is it
a capacitor failure, or something else. What value is C1?
