At work I am using a Mac-IIx and we need to do A/D input. Does anyone have
any experience with A/D boards for the Mac-II? The one I am most impressed
with is made by National Instruments, but all I have access to is their
advertising propaganda, and I would like to hear from anyone who has
experience with their products, or anyone else's products, including software
support. I have read good things about their software, LabVIEW, but have no
means for testing it myself. Will it keep up with a 100kHz sampling rate?
How much of a calculation can it perform on input data at this rate? Any
information you can provide will be appreciated.
My minimum system requirements are:
4 differential A/D input channels, +- 5 v or so, not critical
1 digital input line (to use as a trigger)
100 kHz sampling rate (i.e., 25kHz per channel)
software configurable
Thanks in advance.
