Where can I get nubus prototype boards? I have looked in recent issues of MacUser and MacWorld (especially in the back) and couldn't find any. Do they come with nubus interface circuitry on them? I am a student at Ohio State U. and I would like to do some projects on my Mac IIfx. Send me e-mail. Thanks, -- hayes@hpuxa.ircc.ohio-state-edu Patrick Hayes

Apple has something called the "Macintosh Coprocessor Platform" upon which several of our communications cards are built. They all have a 68000, some RAM, ROM and Nubus ASICs on board. There's also about 40 square inches for anything a developer might want to put on them. (so for our boards, we put a tokenring chipset on, some SCCs for the serial card, etc...). There's also an operating system (multi-tasking, real-time) which runs on the 68000 called "A/ROSE". All of this is available from the Apple Programmers and Developers Association (APDA). Phone Number is (800) 282-APDA. If they claim they don't have such a thing, be persistent -- the package went to them two weeks ago. It's a great way to start because so much has been done for you. Anyway, this might be an option for you. Hope this is helpful.
