I am using a Mac II with ATM to print to my LJIIP. Up until about a week ago (when I moved my system), things have worked famously. Now, when I try to print letters with ATM dumping the 300DPI text to my 2.5MB IIP, I occasioanlly get spurious dashes through some text, kinda like the line is slightly "off" (like it's shifted 5 dots or so). Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I ran a print test on the IIP, and there's no dropout, but I suspect that the print test doesn't actually fill up printer memory; it just uses Internal fonts. My thoughts are: 1) I just swapped IIPs with HP to get the power supply repaired (permanent swap option). Could the new one be bad? 2) My 2MB memory card has a screwup in it now (maybe cyhanging printers fould something just a little). 3) My soft fonts (ATM) are messed up somehow. Can someone help me? jas -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeffrey A.
