[comp.sys.mac.hardware] SID Info

cshotton@buster.irby.com (Chuck Shotton) (01/21/90)

I've had a BUNCH of responses to my original message about SID. I sent the files
to info-mac a few days ago, and they should be there. However, many people have
responded that they don't have access to info-mac. If someone can fill me in on posting to comp.binaries.mac, I'll post it there too.

For all those interested, SID (sound input device) schematics and
source code can be obtained in the public downloads section of the
Twilight Clone BBS in Silver Spring, MD: (301) 946-5032. It is
available for free to all those who call in...

Great-- now every leech on usenet is going to call and clog the lines getting
the free SID schematics :-).
Seriously, as long as you brought it up-- I believe the correct number for
the best chance to get in is 946-8677. The number you posted gets you in
at 9600 baud with a USR HST. BTW, anybody who calls in should also check
out the files listing-- the Clone has the most comprehensive collection
of files I have ever seen, anywhere, for a flat rate fee of $50/yr or
$15/3 months.
