I have a Micropolis 1357N 180MB 20ms 5-1/4" full height hard drive
with an imbedded SCSI controller for sale. Also Atari ST controller.
This SCSI drive is suitable for a Mac as is (I will provide a cable if
necessary), ideal for a SUN or UN*X system, and suitable for a PC or ST
with a SCSI controller card.
This is a *VERY FAST* hard drive with 32K cache RAM on the drive and
all sorts of options for wierd setups. It is about 2 years old and
has seen VERY occasional use (a couple hours a week).
I will provide a short-term warranty and a service manual.
It is currently in an IBM case with a power supply and fan.
I also have a Berkeley BMS 200 card for use with an Atari ST. The
drive will be shipped already formatted for ST use, full of PD stuff,
if you are interested in this drive for an ST. (this card is about
*TWICE* as fast as an ICD card, which you need for this fast drive!)
Price: $850 for just the SCSI drive
$925 for the drive, case, power supply, and fan
$990 for drive, case, power supply, BMS 200 card
ready-to-go to plug-in to Atari ST
$100 for just the BMS200 ST<->SCSI card
I think my prices are quite reasonable, but feel free to make
offers...
