Hi Folks, I managed to get an external terminator inbetween the IIci and the External hard disk, and now it will at least boot fom the IIci, (not the startup, the Iici has an internal quantom...) Everything looks normal, except that, the machine will freeze up almost immediatly as soon as I try to do anything with the files/windows on the external HD..??? Ignoring the external, and just using the internal seems to be ok ( I closed the window on the externel - just before it froze the last time)... Anyway, does this have anything to do with the formatting software? I understand Apple upgraded their HD formatting software in 6.0.5 Should that make a difference?
