Ehman is selling Fujitsu drives: 135Mb for $1000, 180Mb for 1100 (external). These have a claimed mean time between failure (MTBF) of 100,000 hours. Does anyone have any experience with these drives? I'm especially interested in actual reliability, and noise level. We've been using Quantum drives, and are quite happy with them (VERY quiet drives!), but the extra size and longer claimed MTBF of the Fujitsus both look attractive. Much thanks -- Russell owen@raven.phys.washington.edu owen@uwaphast.bitnet
