I posted to this newsgroup a little while back, concerning a serial port which was sucking 20mA and refused to loopback. The problem was the 2632 RS-422 chip, one section of which worked, but drew too much current while doing so. Thanks to Ed Satterthwait of DEC for help in locating and fixing the problem. Joe
