Does anyone know how to program a Data Translation Quick Capture frame grabber board? I'm a beginning MAC programmer teaching myself the system. I have been playing around with trying to program the board for about a year with no success. The manual is all but useless. Support from the company is worse. I know the board works, other application programs can access it. I just haven't figured out to do the same. What I'm looking for is some simple C code (THINK C preferably), that acquires a black and white image and then displays it continually in a window. I have PASCAL code from Wayne Rasband's "Image" program, but this is just too complex for me to understand now. I'd like something that is very simplistic and linear, just to get the concepts down. I have the Data Translation programmer's development kit, A THINK C (version 4) complier, a MAC IIcx with 8 megs, and a Sony camera. At this point I've been able to get the THINK C to compile the supplied DT's demo code, which only displays messages that the board is functioning. I need lots of help with sending the image to a display window. -- Jerry Moleski UUCP: {umich, cfctech}!rphroy!jmoleski Physics Dept, GM Research CSNet: jmoleski@gmr.com Internet: jmoleski%rphroy.uucp@umich.edu
