[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Rasterops Colorboard 364 -- request for opinions

derek@leah.Albany.Edu (Derek L. / MacLover) (08/08/90)

If anyone has had experience with the Rasterops Colorboard 364,
noted or reviewed in MacWeek of 6/24/90 (so I'm told; I haven't seen the
issue), I'd appreciate any comments you have on quality, price, or
comparisons with other, similar boards. It is bundled with Macromind
Director, I am told, for a total price of $1695.

		Thanks, in advance,

						Derek L.

If you contact me by email in about two weeks, I can give you
some hands on feedback. I have a grant that will start soon,
doing an interactive videodisk-based American Sign Language
dictionary. I plan to use a Mac IIci, the Rasterops 364 board,
MacroMind Director, and a Ioxx Pioneer laserdisk player. I should
have all the equipment set up in about two weeks, so I'll be
glad to tell you what I think about the stuff.
