Hi folks, I'm interested in anyone's first hand experience with the MacProducts Railgun '030. Specific questions are: a) Performance improvements. (Subjective, or numbers) b) Ease of installation. (Quality of instructions. Skill & time required) c) Can the installation be reversed. (ie: soldering involved?) d) Reliability. e) Compatability with software. (anything blow up?) f) Upgrades to the upgrade. (Can I add a FPD? Faster '030? FPU?) g) Service and Support. (I've heard MacProducts is poor with this) Answers to some or all of the above questions would be appreciated... I'm an electronic engineer, so feel free to get technical. Yes, I saw the review of accelerators in the August MacWorld. Accelerators have been hashed over a lot in the last little while, so I'll ask that replies be directed to me by email, rather than the net. I will post a summary if I get any interesting data.
