[I know this has been discussed before, but I wasn't paying close attention. Please forgive me. ] I have a Mac IIcx, 80Meg hard drive, 4 Meg memory, system 6.0.5 and a floppy drive that has gone beyond being flaky. It refuses to mount any floppies I insert, even those that worked fine mere days ago. It keeps telling me that the disks are damaged and asks if it should fix it (I say no). It also won't format any disks double sided (single sided seems to work OK). Anyone have any ideas? I do recall people posting in the past that these drives (the FDHD ones that come with the IIcx) have had some problems... are they the same ones I'm having? Is there a fix? I don't particularly want to have to replace my floppy drive! Please respond by e-mail, since this has already been discussed before in the group (and I don't want to bore everybody!). Thanks in advance! -Eric Feigenson ericf@zurich.ai.mit.edu
