[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Internal HD Power cable splitter wanted...

zimerman@phoenix.Princeton.EDU (Jacob Ben-david Zimmerman) (09/03/90)

I have managed, in my quest to hook up two SCSI drives inside my Mac II,
to acquire a 3-connector SCSI cable and to figure out how to mount the
second drive. All I need now is a DC power Y-connector, so that I can
hook up both drives to the power port on the motherboard. I believe
that my Mac power supply can handle the load (somebody jump on me if I'm
wrong--please!!) The units are a Seagate 251N CMS Pro43-II/i (5.25") and
a genuine Apple 20meg 3.5" SE internal, which is going to go in floppy
bay, so one leg of the power splitter needs to be long enough to reach
the floppy bays. If anyone has one of these for sale, or has a pointer
to a retail outlet that might have one mail-order, I would be most
grateful if you'd let me know at this address. Thank you.
