I bought one and it arrived overnight. In about 30 minutes I had it wedged into the box that a friend made for me, formatted with SilverLining, up and running. I ordered a front plate from CDC for $15. The phone number to order the front plate is in the manual you get with the drive. They are "bare" drives, so if you need them external (for Mac, Sun, Amiga, etc.) you will need to get a case, power supply, etc. They say that they will sell the drives in a case for an additional $250 - this is something I payed litle attention to, since mine will be internal. (which is actually a part of Seagate). They couldn't sell me the the front plate themselves and had to refer me to my local distributor.
