A friend of mine and I have recently put together one of the SID II kits. It looks great, but when we run the SID TEST UTIL to try the thing out, we pull down the Record menu and select RAM (or Disk, we get the same effect), a box comes up in the middle of the screen saying recording in 3 seconds, and then RECORDING appears in big letters. We try to sample a sound, but when choose Play RAM, silence occurs. If we record to a file, it's composed of only $7F (127 decimal = silence). Does anyone out there have an idea of what could be up? Any help will be appreciated!! Thanks...
