With these kits, you need an original Mac motherboard, usually 512K, Plus, SE, or SE/30. You just drop the motherboard in and you have an inexpensive Mac laptop. At least that is what they claim. Off the top of my head I can mention the DTC laptop kit. It is made by DTC in Taiwan. Unfortunately I have no information about pricing, etc. The two other companies are in Hong Kong and in the U.S. The one in the U.S. used to advertise in the back pages of MACWORLD, but they have stopped their ads and I cannot find it any more Anyhow, I would be most interested to learn more about any of these kits. Especially about prices and how to get one. Anyone out there can help out? -- Saiid Paryavi CIS Department Internet: paryavi@harris.cis.ksu.edu Nichols Hall, KSU UUCP: {rutgers, texbell}!ksuvax1!harry!paryavi Manhattan, KS 66506
