[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Coprocessor Platform interfacing

isr@rodan.acs.syr.edu (Michael S. Schechter - ISR group account) (10/18/90)

Anyone else out there have the Coprocessor Platform?

I just got mine, and am wondering now Apple expects us to
interface to the 68000? By plugging into the RAM sockets?
By soldering itty-bitty wires on the ACT2441 leads? :) ??

Is there a mysterious Tech Note on the card that might give
some clue??
Or has someone already pulled there hair out for a week and
a half tracing lines and figuring out a moderately-not-too-bad
way to connect to the 68000 ??

I suppose come of the lines on the resistor pack won't be
too hard to hack connections too, but why isn't there
a header on this card with signal lines?

You should probably be talking to the people at Green Spring
Computers(415-327-1200). They have a 16Mhz 68020 based coprossor platform
with two slots available for plug-in interfaces.
