I am considering buying a hard disk for my old (128K) Mac. It has been upgraded with the new ROMS, and has 1 Meg of memory (from Dove). I would buy a SCSI add-on board, and need to know if all the different brands of SCSI boards will work with all the different SCSI hard drives. How do the various boards attach to the main logic board? My concern here is the possible physical conflict with my add-on memory board. I realize that I may have to build my own cable, or modify the cable that comes with the unit. I would prefer an external drive, but could be convinced to get an internal drive. What problems should I watch out for? What kind of driver will I need for the hard drive? I assume that I will be able to boot from the hard drive. Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Lester -- Lester Bartel b23b!naomi!lester@ingr.com Intergraph Corp. uunet!ingr!b23b!naomi!lester
