Hello, everybody, Just a quicky-Q, I have heard all the wonderful PR about the new 512k ROMs, but nothing in the way of programmer's support. I understood the 256k ROMs of the MacII series, they handled color (among other things). But what the devil have they put into the new machines? When will software start requiring them? When will apple put out Inside Mac Vol. VIII:The Next Generation, so to speak, not to mention all of the Inside Mac support stuff (e.g. Inside Mac DA)? Pigs in Pokes, even 256 of them, have never turned me on, especially when these pigs are starting to become standard equipment... \\\|/// Jeffrey Sittenfield Baron/ Read-Curry 205 -(.X.)- Silver.ucs.indiana.edu / Bloomington, IN 47406 ( "For example, its stated over and over that computer circuits -__-~ exhibit only two states...but any computer-electronics person knows otherwise.
