I am currently considering purchasing a Personal LWNT. I would greatly appreciate any comments from people who have purchased one. In particular I have been told that the PLWNT does not have a straight-through paper path like the LWII series - does this limit handling of heavier paper and envelopes. Also someone told me that the cables plug in at an odd location. Any comments greatly appreciated. John Pearce jpearce@uk.ac.ucl.cs Computer Science Department University College London

Also someone told me that the cables plug in at an odd location. I had a Personal LW NT for evaluation for a few days when they were introduced. I tried a couple of envelopes and some 80-lb. clay-coated slick paper in it. Both worked with no problem; I didn't even have to open the face-up "straighter" paper path tray.
