[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Radius FPD connection to Macintosh internal video

matsu@is.s.u-tokyo.ac.jp (MATSUOKA Satoshi) (11/15/90)

I own a Radius FPD monitor and a card attached to my Mac Plus along
with the radius 68020 accelerator. I would like to upgrade to possibly
a IIsi or IIci in order to take advantage of Virtual Memory and FDHD
(which is badly needed because Japanese systems take a gross amount
of memory). There are two questions:

1. Is it possible to drive the FPD monitor with the internal video
of IIci or IIsi? Or, do I need a NuBus card? If it is possible, what
kind of cable would I need?

2. Would it be possible to somehow replace the 68020 of the
accelerator with 68030, perhaps using some sort of a piggyback board?
Or, is there a 68030 accelerator board that accepts the radius FPD
board?

Thank you in advance.
