I'm thinking of upgrading to a IIfx (logic board upgrade path) and was
interested in anyone else's experience in this area... I've heard of severe
incompatibilities, hard disks not working (25-pin ones, that is), serial
ports giving up the ghost, etc... and was hoping to get the "full" story, both
good and bad.
I've got a Daystar 50-enhanced MacII which is doing well, but I really do
need that little extra bit more that the IIfx supplies. However, if I'll
spend more time down than up, forget it!
