I'm looking at buying a second printer (I have a ImageWriter II), and I'm investigating the printer and driver combinations which might suit my needs. I have several requirements: 1) The printer must be able to print on A3 sized paper. 2) The driver must be able to perform 200% scaling (i.e. double the size of the printed output.) 3) The printer must be able to print on thick paper (equivalent to about 4 sheets of high quality paper) 3) I don't care if it has postscript or not. Some suggestions are very welcome... If you can verify the (1) and (2) actually do work on the printer you suggest, please let me know (can't trust these salesmen :-) What is this for, you may ask? Well, I don't see printed music very well, so I use a typesetting package to reformat the music and enlarge the output. The enlarging step is a pain, as not many places have 200% enlarging photocopiers, and I reckon I should be able to do it in one step. I can't just enlarge the original -> you end up with huge pages with very few notes on them. Please e-mail responses, I'll summarize if there is sufficient interest.
