I'm looking around for a printer driver for my HP ThinkJet. I found GDT SoftWorks which will sell me a driver for $99 which is fine, but they say it won't work with a parallel printer without a serial-to- parallel software converter. With this included, it comes to $189. This is somewhat absurd, since I could probably get a whole new printer for this. Any ideas? Is there such a thing as serial->parallel PD software? -pete (fay@wpi.edu)

You could call it a MacClone. -pete fay
