I'm purchasing a Mac IIci and was looking for references for monitors. Which monitors are "more or less" compatible with the Apple Hi-Res Color monitor. I've seen ads for mail-order monitors such as the NEC 3D, NEC MACsync, Magnavox, Seiko Trinitron, Sony Trinitron, etc. Will these all work with the IIci onboard video? I've looked for reviews and have found July's MacWorld. They seem to be interested in only the larger monitors, however. Anyone know of another review? I have a Sony PVM1271Q Trinitron which I used with a Truevision Targa24 card. It has RGB, composite, and "computer" connections. Is there a way to get the IIci video to sync with this monitor?
