I am interested in turning my old Plus (and my Father's old 512ke) into a portable. Essentially, the plan is to remove the motherboard and mount it in some sort of a briefcase, along with batteries to supply +-12v and +5v. This should be easy. I would also need some sort of flat screen display that could be mounted in the briefcase. The output from the motherboard gives horizontal sync, vertical sync and video outputs. Does anyone know of a source for a display that I can connect to these? I also have a simple schematic for an adapter that will give TTL video from the Plus. Perhaps it would be easier to get a display that takes TTL video input? I am fairly certain that there must be some way to do this, since there are companies that will do the conversion for you. Any suggestions? Has anyone out there done this already? Any replies will be greatly appreciated. It might be best to send me mail, and I will summarise in a few days.
