I just had an interesting experience. Someone brought me a floppy which they said should have 29 files, but only showed 23 on their SE/30 and IIcx. I put it in my II to run some checking on it, and all 29 files showed up! The last 6 (alphabetically) showed up on my 800K drive, but not on the SuperDrive on 2 different machines. The files recovered just fine from my II. Other info: the floppy was nowhere near full, and Disk First Aid saw no problems with it. Or is Disk First Aid only for hard disks?
