Has anyone tried to use the HP DeskWriter 110V power supply with a transformer, instead of using the 220V power supply? Our HP supplier can't seem to get a 220V power supply and I'll be leaving for Munich soon. Can it harm the DeskWriter to use a transformer? Why not wait and check out the German HP rep when you get over there. Jack Howarth

Daivd, half a year ago I took a HP DeskWriter from the US here to Switzerland. I'm using a 220V->110V Transformer without any Problems, and I'm using it quite often. Hope this helps. Stefan S.
