Greetings, I have an Imagewriter II that I'd like to put on an appletalk net. Someone told me I needed a special board for the Imagewriter... I did some checking and I think the board costs about $100. Does anyone have info on this?... anybody running and Imagewriter on a net? Anybody have one of these boards they'd like to unload for less than $100? Anybody know where I can get one of these boards cheaper than $100... say about $50? Does anybody care? thanx dave David A. We have a few Imagewriter II's on Appletalk networks here. The one's that don't have any kind of Star Controller involved seem to work OK. The one's connected via Star Controller frequently stop in the middle of a page at random times, and the Mac gets tired of waiting and displays an error message. An upgrade to the chips inside the Star Controller is available but doesn't seem to have helped. I haven't researched the problem completely, yet. John Rocchio Workstation Consultant UC Santa Cruz
