[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Query: 40MB drive for MacPlus

bic@cgl.ucsf.edu (Bruce Cohen) (01/03/91)

A friend has an old MacPlus with no hard disk. They are interested in getting
one. I assume this means an extern model. Can a reliable drive (40MB) be
purchased for $300 (or less)? Any suggestions of makes, models, dealers ...
will be appreciated.

a hard drive around the 40 meg size for a plus. I don't know what price the
GCC UltraDrive 40S is down there, but mine has been a champ. Hard use for the
last year, daily "on times" of about 3-6 hours. Very reliable so far. and fast,
too.
