[comp.sys.mac.hardware] 4MB SIMMs in a IIci?

long@mcntsh.enet.dec.com (Rich Long) (01/07/91)

A recent MacUser (Feb. 1991) states that the maximum RAM possible in a IIci
is 8MB. I always believed it was 32MB, using 4MB SIMMs. I realize that the
current MacOS only uses 8MB, but the future is coming :-) Can the ci use 4MB
 SIMMs or not?

ps: I've read the tech note, and am still confused.

 Thanks...
