[comp.sys.mac.hardware] 4Mbytes onboard for LC's

michael@thorin.otago.ac.nz (01/18/91)

Looking at the Mac LC PC board I see that there are four vacant positions for
four more 4M RAM chips, doubtless meaning that there will be a version with
4Mbytes on board in due course.

I wonder if users of 2Mbyte machines could upgrade them? Is soldering four
surface-mount chips in there impossibly fiddly or just extremely fiddly?
