On the Fall 1980 DECUS Symposium tape, MIT Joint Computer Facility provided
a sample Varian plotter symbiont along with descriptions of the interaction
of the symbiont with JOB_CONTROL. The symbiont is called VSMB, and is somewhere
on the tape. If you don't have a copy of the tape, look in the latest edition
of PageSwapper for a list of people nearby who have it. If you are not

I put the 3 files from the [SYMBIONT] directory of the Fall 1980
DECUS Symposium tape as pointed out by Joe Kelsey in the
directory <ROODE.SYMBIONT> on SRI-AI, whence they may be FTP'd
by all who want them via ANONYMOUS FTP login.
