I spoke with a hardware vendor recently who told me that it would be difficult to add a PMMU (for virtual memory) to a Mac LC because the memory addressing is hardwired to "real" memory. That is, you can't simply drop in a PMMU as you could on the original '020-based Mac II. Is this correct? -Ralph rgonzal@chowder.rutgers.edu
