Does anyone know whether the MOVC instruction is really the fastest way to
move a large block of memory (as opposed to, say, a tight loop of (properly
aligned) MOVO's or something like that)

More generally, while it's been pointed out that it's impossible to get
absolute times for instructions, does anybody have any info on relative
speeds of different ways of doing the same thing, "all other factors being
the same".
