I have a IIci AppleShare File Server, and it restarts automatically after a power hit, since I have locked the on/off switch in, of course. Recently I added an external hard disk (Apple 160SC). Now, when I lose power, the IIci does not restart. Any suggestions? More information: IIci is plugged into wall outlet. External hard disk is plugged into wall outlet. Monitor plugs into IIci. IIci has an internal hard disk, and boots of that. After the power hit, the IIci is clearly not running, and the monitor is not receiving power. The external hard disk is running. If I push the IIci's power switch (unlock/relock), it does not start the IIci. However, I *can* get the IIci to start by turning the external hard disk off. (And if I turn the external hard disk back on, the IIci sees it, no problem.) Alternatively, I can get the IIci to start by pulling the plug on the external hard disk. The external hard disk is connected to the IIci with Apple's SCSI System Cable, and there is a grey Apple SCSI terminator on the spare SCSI port on the external hard disk.
