I'm sure many of us have many megas worth of 256K SIMMs just setting around after upgrading all our Macintoshes with cheap 1M SIMMs. The street value of these 256K chips is so low <$5 that its not really worth my time to find buyers. Does anyone know of a worthwhile place to donate this chips? Can I mail them to needy schools or universities? Any researchers working on gigabyte RAM diskes and need free SIMMs? I've got about fifty 256K SIMMs that I am willing to donate to someone or somegroup that can put them to good use.
