I currently have 5 megs of RAM in my SE/30 (4x1meg + 4x256k). The 4 1 meg SIMMs are, I think, the 80ns type. If I were to upgrade to 8 megs, would it be necessary to get SIMMs of the same speed? Or, is it ok to mix and match SIMM speeds inside my SE/30? Thanks, Kevin Bolduan KSBOLDUAN@AMHERST

The simms need only be fast enough for your machine. No matching is needed.
