[comp.sys.mac.hardware] 2n owner right?

hi, there,

        I bought a used mac which is still under warranty. I wonder do I need
to write a letter to apple in order to transfer the right to me. If I am not
satisfied with the monitor which has a defect that comes with 1st owner,
do I have the right to ask for an exchange of a new one?
