Hi. I just got one of the new Apple 12" monochrome (greyscale) monitors, I'm using with a Mac IIcx and Apple 4-bit video card upgraded to 8-bit. I've noticed that you can see a very mild "ghost" of vertical lines about 1/16" to the right of the vertical line, and "smearing" of horizontal lines for an inch or two to the right of the line. The latter is especially evident with thick black lines against a grey background. My dealer doesn't stock these monitors so I don't have anything to compare mine to. Before I ask the dealer to exchange mine, can someone else who owns this monitor tell me whether they've noticed similar problems? I'm not sure whether mine is an isolated case or whether this is a design flaw. Thanks for any replies, Ralph rgonzal@chowder.rutgers.edu
