There have been a LARGE number of requests for addition/deletion/changes
to the INFO-VAX list sent to the entire list lately. I must ask everyone
to PLEASE stop this! If you have any friends who want to be added to
the list, or if you want your name or address changed, or you want to
be removed, PLEASE send your request to
INFO-VAX-REQUEST@SANDIA
If this impolite practice continues I may be forced to stop automatic
forwarding of mail sent to the list. That would mean mail would sit
until I had looked it over, then forwarded to the list later.
There are a few sub-lists to which mail is forwarded. If you know you
are included on such a sublist and you know who maintains it, feel free
to contact them directly for any changes. If not, please address your
requests to INFO-VAX-REQUEST@SANDIA and I will forward them to the proper
person.
Let me repeat it one more time...
IN NO CASE SHOULD ANY REQUESTS FOR CHANGES IN THE MAILING
LIST BE SENT TO THE ENTIRE LIST. ALL SUCH REQUESTS SHOULD
BE SENT TO "INFO-VAX-REQUEST@SANDIA".
At the very least, anyone who sends such a request to the entire list
in the future will simply be REMOVED from the list.
