My girlfriend's SE emits a high pitched squeal when a window is being scrolled and only then. Just sitting it is perfectly quiet. Why would it whine only when scrolling and is there anything that can be done about it. Perhaps her mac has the Finder Sounds init installed, and it is set to produce a sound when scrolling? I've also noticed a noise when scrolling which comes from my radio sitting nearby, due to RF interference I guess... -Ralph
