In my never-ending search for a cheaper (yet still high-quality) monitor for the Macintoshes that my department is about to order, I would like to get any/all opinions from people that have tried to hook VGA displays up to the video-out of their LC/si/ci's ... what works, what doesn't ... I would imagine that the image quality would be somewhat less (just because the darned things are so much cheaper) than that of the apple monitors, but how much less? Is the display on one of these livable? At a potential savings of $350/monitor, I am very interested in finding out more information. With any luck, that'll be the last monitor-related posting I'll make for the next while.
