I used to use ITS and was disappointed by the lack of it on UNIX.
Would you be willing to mail me a copy of your procedure?  I hope that
this is ok with you.  I asked someone else on the net for some shell
procedures for version number like behavior of removes.  He never sent
the procedures.  Thus I'm not sure whether you intended to mail them
out, but I myself can't see why not if you advertise them on the net.
