I would be interested in hearing about DBMS software for the VAX running
a Berkeley (sp?) UNIX. the application would be managing a database not
unlike a telephone book (registrar type stuff).
comments about its ease of use, capabilities, price, ... would be
greatly appreciated.

Rhodnius Inc. has an RDBMS called Mistress which would be suitable for
you -- user-friendly, pretty decent functionality, price $5K includes
I year's support. Rhodnius will be on the net soon, but for now, if
you mail me your U.S. Snail address, I will get some info out to you
on it. (Sorry for late reply -- haven't read news much lately)
